Not like the other Extended Stay Americas We have stayed previously at other Extended Stay America hotels, and usually enjoy the experience, the Extended Stay America in Lynnwood was a real disappointment. - The room had a constant stale smell, almost like tootsie rolls. Very disappointing experience. The room wreaked of b.o. when we walked in the door. There was only one washcloth and one plastic cup in the room. There were hairs in the bath tub. No coffee maker in the room.

Never again The room was not clean, the bathroom was dirty. The towels were scratchy and water pressure was horrible in the shower. You have to pay extra for high-speed Internet, regular Internet service is lacking. The only positive was the clerk that helped me check in.

Poor Service and Very Basic Room was not ready for check in at 6:00pm and I heard the receptionist say to someone on the phone that she needed to check to see if my room was ready but she first needed to have a Coke break. Meanwhile I had to wait after a long day of work, then check into the room to find the kitchen is not stocked with anything. So back to reception to wait in line to ask for supplies. Poor service and basic room. I moved to The Hampton Inn around the corner, and it was like night and day.

I am not sure where to being...The hotel staff were not helpful at all... I am older I was the only customer at the time struggling to get the doors open with my luggage, the lady that was behind the counter stood there and watched me. She did not offer to open or hold the door for me! The room was clean however, there were no wash clothes, the towels were like drying with sandpaper. Bare bones Check-in staff unresponsive (reading a book). Room minimal (e.g. one hand towel for two people), recliner got "stuck" in open position. Lobby almost non-existent (with two characters lounging in the only two chairs...both texting). Advertised "Continental breakfast" consisted of coffee and small wrapped muffins (all chocolate) and power bars. Only redeeming grace was young lady at desk in the morning who helped with our itinerary change.
Great location but that's about all it offers I booked this hotel because of strong ratings, so maybe I just had an usual experience. But there were cops in the parking lot (sometimes busting people) every night, reports of a "creepy guy listening at room doors" and desk staff that could barely manage a smile. The WiFi code was casually handed to me on a random sticky note from some other business and it didn't work. Close to Alderwood Mall..... This is a newer hotel, really close to Alderwood Mall, but that's about all it has going for it. It boasted a kitchenette, but there were no dishes, glasses, cups or cutlery in the place. All empty cupboards. Full size fridge was nice to have. We had to ask for a hairdryer as, again, it was a bare bones room. TV may be flat screen but feed or picture was awful and kept cutting out. Bed was comfortable, but bedding was old. Never again... No housekeeping service unless you're there for 7 nights. I was there 4 nights. Garbage wasn't emptied, no fresh linens and I used the same dirty plastic cup the entire time. I was told to empty the garbage myself. Not even a plastic spoon in the kitchen. I won't stay at this brand again and I told them at check out. Desk staff was totally unresponsive to my comments.
