More like a makeshift half way house. Service was a joke. The woman wouldn't ever let me in to the "glass room" which was a heightened security area because apparently they've had some security issues. I found trash under the bed as well as in the closet. There were random people loitering around the hotel at night. I honestly didn't sleep because I was more scared for my personal safety and my car. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! You have been warned. This seemed like a half way house in the ghetto.

Wouldn't recommend Not the hotels fault, but we were woken up in the middle of the night from a domestic screaming match happening in a room near by and almost had to get the police. The room was dirty and bathroom a mess. The staff was nice, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Dirty room Room was dirty and the fridge was not working so we lost our food... but the guy at the front desk was friendly

Nonsmoking room reached of cigarette smoke The front desk was nice. The room was in pretty bad shape. Lamp shades were damaged and hanging sideways. The dresser drawer was broken off and hanging loose. There was an iron but no ironing board. The bathroom had quite a bit of grime in it. But all of that was nothing compared to the smell of stale cigarette smoke in the room. Did I mention it was a non-smoking unit? Horrible Stay My Stay at the Extended Stay America Durham - University, located at 3105 Tower Blvd, was a horrible experience that one should never have to pay and experience. The room (I believe was 231) had a strong odor of smoke, the bath room had lines of burnt marking along the bathtub and sink. The Shower rod was dangling from strews off the wall. This is to just name a few of the problems I encountered with this location…horrible place. I truly believe for this hotel to close and renovate or close it's doors permanent... read more

Not good This was truly the worst Extended Stay America Hotel I've ever stayed in. Very sorry I made this choice. I have stayed at this brand many times- very disappointed. Dirty place, very poor condition of rooms and property.
