Room & stay was a complete disappointment. I checked in around 10:30pm, had it not been so late, we would have stayed elsewhere. After traveling 3 1/2 hours, my fiancé & I were ready to just get some rest. The room was unclean, from the dirty counter tops to the desk & floor was disgusting. No vending or ice machines. No coffee maker or coffee condiments in the room, the phone didn’t work, the bed should have just been listed as a queen rollaway, because that’s all it was. Good area of town. I never got a room,I had a reservation. was told to come back an hour later room not ready . I was there exactly at 3pm. I came back three other times and told still not ready. At 9pm I was told they were sold out and all that was left was a smoknig room but I couldn't have it because they couldn't change the room type of my reservation from nonsmking to smoking. This was a Texas Tech parent weekend I could not find another room in the city in my price range, I had to pay $320 for one night at another hote... read more
The location is the only positive about this hotel. As for the negative, the rooms were horrible, roaches running around, smelled like smoke, desk clerk was rude and out of 4 rooms, only 1 was correct at check in. I would never stay here again.
I never got to stay in the room because the lady at the front desk said they were updating their system. I already paid for my room through hotel.com and the lady said it would take 24hr to 48 hrs for my refund and closed the window and I was left stranded because she didn't know how to work the new system and I still haven't gotten my refund
