Surely all the rooms could not be this bad. The kitchenette counter was falling apart. The linen on the bed was old, the bottom sheet shifted around causing uncomfortable creases and wrinkles. It was late and only for one night.

Quiet; close to shopping, food and main highway Basic bedding, Bathroom door uneven and won't close. Door to sidewalk had hole under it

Next to the interstate and you know it. The noise of the traffic is not muffled in the room.

Visit family The place smelled like mildew. The bathroom door doesn't close because it's warped really bad. I stayed 3 nights and not once did anyone come to clean or provide new towels, soap etc.

Nasty Bug Infestation The mattress and box springs were old and noisey when you rolled over. The room was infested with bugs on the ceiling and in the bed. They were in my suitcase to. DISGUSTING!!!! Asked to be moved at 1200 midnight to another room they put up a fight at first but eventually moved me. Asked for discounted rate since I had to move and bugs in the room and in the bed. Heavy Smokers room Room reeked of smoke, didn't know there could be such a heavy smell. Used a container of Fabreze with no luck. Tv did not work no maintenance person available. Attendant was nice but limited in helping with problems. Would never recommend.

Smoking Room with a Bathroom Covered in Hair I booked this hotel only because there was some big event in town which took up all the other hotels I normally stay at when I am in Roanoke. I requested a non-smoking room on my reservation, but the clerk apologized and stated that since they only receive the details of the booking slightly ahead of the check in date, all the non-smoking rooms were taken. The room smelled horrible. The clerk did offer to spray it with Febreze which was nice, but I don't think it would have worked... read more

Extended Stay Nightmare oupled with poor customer Arrived at Extended Stay Looking forward to a good nights sleep after driving 700 miles. Upon check in the young lady who greeted me seemed pleasant and accommodating. I got into the room and was required to as for a house ware package to get items I thought would already be in the room. Poorly Maintained This Extended Stay is obviously behind the 8-ball in terms of upgrades and remodeling in comparison to other chain locations; however, it could still look and feel like a nice hotel if it were properly maintained. They have stains in the tubs and sinks that wouldn't be there if proper cleaning had been done when it first occurred. The microwave had old food particles in it from lack of cleaning, and my beddings were full of stains and holes. Basic housekeeping mishaps are a big part of the problem with this... read more
