Not for light of heart! Location was good, desk staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful. Room was dusty, floors obviously not cleaned between guests. We had cockroaches in the bathroom and when requested attention to the issue we’re given a very toxic industrial strength spray. The desk staff tried to be helpful but we left.
The staff is amazing but the halls and rooms smell so bad.

WiFi was out whole time; no shampoo, no ice machine, limited front desk coverage

Good evening, I finally got back to Florida after a long weekend of work and a big disappointment with this place. After 12 hours of exhausting driving, we got to WoodSpring Suites Charlotte Matthews around 1h30 (me, my daughter and my dog). When I first saw the place, it didn't look so bad as it was in the room. Our room had a strange smell to it. And the front desk is never open.

This facility was unkempt and dirty, there was a consistent foul odor throughout the hotel. In the rare times that the common area was “cleaned”, it was done with dirty equipment and dirty water. The hygiene issue is made worse by the fact that this place allows pets.
