Nobody Home at Homestead I called at 8:00 and said I would be coming in late. "No problem you have already paid and we are open 24 hours." was the reply. I got there at 11:05 pm. The office door was locked. I banged loudly, tried their courtesy phone and called their number from my cell phone. NO answer. I banged some more. Sign on the door clearly states 24 hours. Never stay at Homestead Washington DC-Falls Church The room was stinking beyond tolerance. You cannot even stand there for a minute and I later figured that the room was not prepared for to-be-occupied. The problem does not end there the guy at reception desk said that he cannot change it for 1/2 and hour. then he started to offer me a smoking room which I denied. Poor Once I booked the room at this location the description was flat screen tv, and Internet free, free breakfast, and none of the above was included. I paid $3.00 per day for the Internet service, also at the time to check in a guest was in the front desk explaining that he didn't have Internet service and the person who was assisting him said, call the 1.800 number!! Not very friendly or helpfull, the room was smelling horribly I guess the ventilation could play a big role in this case. Overall wxperience, poor

Attempt to charge me an extra rate I stayed at this hotel for one night. When I checked out, the front desk employee said that I had an outstanding balance. I already paid for the reservation in full when booking the reservation through hotels.com. Luckily, I showed the employee the receipt from hotel s.com stating that the reservation was paid in full. Overall, there are better hotels than this in the area. The only advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the I-495 Beltway.

Would not recommend The room smelled of cigarettes and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. There was no trash can present. The toilet paper roll was positioned such that you had to turn sideways to sit on the toilet. The Cable TV channel selection was limited and redundant. The pillows were meager - felt like boot camp. There was nobody available to check out with at 6:30 am in the morning.
