I always enjoy staying at Extended Stay. This visit was no different as a lot of things near by, stores and restuarants and the metro rail into Washington D.C.

Good place to stay This location has been undergoing renovation and it looks great. I stay here every time I need to stay in Gaithersburg. In the past, I have had issues occasionally with the desk staff being hard to find late at night but the current staff is much better.

Good If you are planning to check in late just be ready to wait because you have to call the staff through the phone . Staff is good but last time maybe new people couldn’t check me in the system. I called to let them know I was checking late and they said there were gonna charge me more (early check in is reasonable, but late??? Seriously)

Price wss cheaper. The whole property smelled like cigarettes, which was disappointing.

Customer service sucks! Asked for a late check in and was given the run around saying that I wasn’t allowed a late check in. The customer service rep on the phone was of no help as they left you hold as that talked about the situation, mind you I wasn’t put on hold or let alone did they put the phone on mute. The room was a good room, it was neat and clean.
