One of the BEST move-ins I've experienced to date. Great location, climate controlled unit, and excellent customer service. This is my second Extra Space Storage rental (in two different cities), and they acknowledged my patronage by giving me a move-in special, and a unit situated close to the first floor for easy moving. To top it off, Allan treated us with such care and professionalism from our inital calls, to the move-in, to follow-up! I was also impressed with the "electronic forms". Vermin got into my storage and ruined all of my things. DO NOT use this place unless you want to lose your belongings to animal droppings and urine. There should be a zero stars option

55.56% rent increase after 3 months! Ongoing issue with locks being cut and items stolen from units. DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE! Three months after I moved in, I received a notice that my monthly rent would increase by 55.56%. The notice stated that my "promotional rate" had ended and they were adjusting the rent to "reflect the current market." I did not have a "promotional rate," I had an internet rate, and nowhere did my lease indicate a rate increase after 3 months. Theft is rampant here. Most of the thefts occur on Sunday ... read more

My unit was broken into, along with several others. We have no idea when this occurred as they did not follow their own security protocols. The onsite manager refused to make a police report. Precious documents from my deceased father were stolen- I am absolutely heartbroken over this loss. For the amount of money I paid every month for an inside, secured locker, with supposed security, I am just beside myself. I strongly suggest finding another facility to store your items.

Like others, rates jumped after just 5 months. Doubled from the rate advertised online. They currently are advertising a rate of $22 which is nearly half what I am paying now. What a joke.

Buyer Beware, I got a good price on the internet for a 10x10 unit and within a few months the price increased almost $100 dollars for no apparent reason. In addition, they do NOT prorate your unit. So, if you are charged on the first of the month and move that same week, you receive no money $ back. Be sure to read the fine print, ask questions and get it in writing. All the best!

We do prorate you if you provide us with a notice before being charged the month you move out. The first month is not able to be prorated. Should've listened to other reviews regarding rate increases. Sure enough just after 4 months the rent has indeed doubled. Better off somewhere else. They'd probably raise it again after another few month's.

Operating on expired elevator permits... this permit expired in January 2020 and it is December 2022... the facilities smell bad and they raise their prices without notifying the customer buy nearly $50-$70 in one month. $88 went to $130 and climbing.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I moved into my unit 3 months ago at a great rate. They were very helpful at the time. Now, a few months later, they sent mt a sneaky letter in the mail telling me I received a "promotional rate" and then proceeded to tell me my rate was going up almost $100 a month. At no time before I signed did they state I was receiving a promotional rate. Very misleading.
