I love the team at Extra Space Storage. My husband and I just moved to LA, and we called a few places, but Liz was by far the nicest and most helpful person I talked to. The prices are competitive and I feel like its VERY secure. I highly recommend using them!
This review is for the Casitas location. It is tucked away and barely noticeable. It is extremely clean and the unit doors are in excellent condition, not banged up or damaged like one facility I visited. The interior of the units are tin or metal so there is unlikely to be any pests burrowing their way into your boxes, not like wood or drywall at some other storage facilities that I won't name. I first came here after I inherited some family heirlooms from my grandmother. I was living abroad at the time and was afraid to leave these sentimental things without being able to check on them for months at a time. I'd seen Storage Wars and heard horror stories about sketchy storage facilities. The casitas location is not like that. Ken runs a really tight ship. I've never seen anything weird going on. Love this place! The customer service is exceptional!! They care about the customer and they even received packages for us and held them in the office. So glad I found this place!
This place is hidden gem!!! The staff is super friendly and the space is extremely clean and safe guarded. I highly recommend this place for your storage needs.
I needed a storage unit for a couple of months and decided to go with ESS. It is a bit out of the way, but the pricing reflects that - significantly cheaper than storage units in DTLA or on the westside. It also has really good gate hours, which I didn't realise was going to be such a plus until my movers showed up 3 hours late and we had to really hustle to vacate the home that I was selling that same day. Let me tell you something about Ken. He is the most courteous, professional, kind, diligent, incredible human being I've encountered in a long time. It's rare to meet a person like Ken! Within moments after reserving a unit with Extra Storage's main phone line, I received a call from Ken confirming the reservation and offering instructions for getting to his location. Great experience -- the staff were super-helpful and 100% transparent about all of the policies. The facility is clean, secure, and easy to navigate. If I ever need a storage space again, I know where to go.
Great customer service from Kenneth. He answered all my questions and made signing up very easy. Facility is secure and well maintained. Checking out was a breezy process as well. Highly recommended.
