It's been about 2 years since we got the warranty. They have always been very courteous and helpful on the phone. They have always been prompt and done a good job as far as the warranty service goes. When our air conditioning unit went out during the summer we just started a claim and they sent out somebody to fix it. They have done things as expected and have always been helpful.
When I have a claim, they pay. They work with me and explain the policy. I would never cancel my warranty. It has been the best investment I made when we purchased our older home.
I've used the service twice, once for a re-key that they took care of right away. The second time my AC went out and they fixed that as well. So far it has been good, and they've always been very informative about the policy.
It has been good, I mean, it takes a little longer than what I would like to get someone out, but overall it's fine. A few days ago my AC was not working properly and it took 3 to 4 days to finally get somebody out here. Part of that was because the area had just had a big hurricane so I'm sure everybody was wrecked out.
They've attended to all the problems and issues we had. They're very responsive to our concerns. We've used their service for maintenance, some plumbing work, electrical stuff, a microwave, and stuff like that. I've had a pretty good experience.
It was recommended by my realtor when I bought my house. The service representatives have always been great. They've always been really good technicians who come to fix what I've needed. I had my microwave fixed, I've had a hard time getting a hold of them, but I was able speak to a Landmark representative. She was very helpful in getting me somebody to help. They hooked me up and changed the lock when we first moved in. They were awesome. I also called them when my garbage disposal broke. It was under warranty, so they came in and replaced it. I appreciate that our sellers had it in place for me when I moved.
As part of the deal I got in buying a home, the seller provided a home warranty, and they chose Landmark. Their customer support has been very responsive. We needed to re-key the new house and the customer service sent them out to do that.
