I needed to use my warranty because my refrigerator went out. I called home warranty and they just set me up with someone to do the service. After that, it became a nightmare. The terms of the warranty are very impressive though.
I love that the claims managers stay in constant contact through a project. They work with excellent contractors too, making it simple and pleasant to get my home fixed up.
They're very friendly and we've had no complaints or major issues. The only thing I wish is that Landmark would give you a wider variety of contractors. We had a garage door go out on us on a Saturday, and they said they would get somebody on Tuesday because they didn't have a contractor that worked on the weekends. I know there are several contractors available in the area, even on weekends, because I've had some people come out in the past to do repairs. There's a bit of a lag in that. It's all been very good. I've used it a couple of times and I've got a very decent response and the problems were solved.
I was happy with the service it actually took longer than I wanted but in the end it was good.
They answered all our questions right away and sent a knowledgeable technician very quickly
We've had two positives and one negative experience with Landmark. Everything was great when we needed our refrigerator fixed, but it wasn't the best when our air conditioner had a problem. We couldn't get anybody out for about 10 days, and it was 100 degrees outside. Besides that, the first two times was great. They would have somebody come over in a timely manner, and the technicians were great.
They're top notch, I haven't had any issues with them. I've actually used my warranty many times, so I can't think of one specific occasion when they came to help me. I would say that they do help you get what you need, and if something needs fixing they will make sure that the contractor comes by and does that. If something needs replacing, they will do that too. I think it's a great company. They're totally professional, kind, nice, and understanding. I haven't been disappointing at all.
They came along when we bought the house and offered us a warranty. We have had several leaks in the house and we just used the home warranty to fix them. Though I'm pretty unhappy when they came up last year for something.
