I've only used their service once and that was a good experience. We had a toilet repair that needed to be fixed rather quickly. We got it scheduled right away, they sent out an urgent request to the contractor and we got it resolved. My only complain is that the instructions given to contact the constructors should be better. Some of them obviously don't want to contact us until they get a ticket. There's a little of miscommunication with that, but everything else has been professional and timely.
They've been very prompt and efficient. Though most of the time when I needed to use them the warranty didn't cover the fixes. Right now we have it primarily as insurance for big ticket items that could go out.
The warranty was part of the sale of my house. Customer support was very courteous. They got to the point with my issues quickly. The garbage disposal went out and I called and they sent out a repairman right away, and they replaced the broken garbage disposal on that same day.
It was chosen for us, we didn't have an option. They've been mostly wonderful; the only problem I have had was getting ahold of a claims agent to help fulfill a request, and that's only happened once out of the the 4 or 5 times we've had to contact them. I've only called them because I needed to re-key my home. It was fairly easy to do. I called them, they created a ticket, and followed up with me until it was done.
Everything has been excellent. They follow up with their customers and make sure that everything is ok. I really like that.
The customer support is good in my opinion, they respond fast. We've used them a lot because of a few AC issues. In August 3rd the AC went out. We called them and they got a service technician out. They had to replace a big part in our AC, which was a bit costly, but the AC worked well after that.
Overall I had a satisfactory experience with my Landmark Home Warranty. Unfortunately it did not cover the main item (furnace/air conditioning) that I carried the warranty for.
I used them in my previous home and since I was satisfied with what they did I decided to keep the service. Customer service has been excellent so far, but there have been a couple of things that took them a long time to fix.
