When we bought this house the previous owners already had the contract for the year, so we had to keep it for the rest of it. Since then, we've used it. We had 2 instances when we used our warranty, one was for our dishwasher and the other for the central air condensing unit. For the unit, we ended up having to replace it. We felt that once they assigned the contractor, they were completely unaware of the problems that we had. It felt like they didn't follow up as much as we would expect them to.
We've been pleased with Landmark overall, but were a little disappointed when our AC until needed to be replaced that they wouldn't replace the entire unit and that some parts that had to be replaced in order for the new unit to work were not covered.
It has been great so far. We've had three plumbing issues, one with the well and the other two with the shower. They've all been handled right away and they were good with the follow up too.
When I bought the house the warranty was already in place, I just renewed it this year. They are very responsive and call us back to make sure that everything is done right. I used the warranty several times for the air conditioning and they've sent someone out here right away. I also needed them for our septic tank one time but on that occasion they couldn't find anybody that could do it. I also wasn't able to find someone myself so I just dropped it. That's about the only bad experience I've ever had with them.
I had a breaker go down in my breaker box recently, and they had somebody out within 24 hours. The company they sent out was on top of their customer service, and I liked how they solved the problem.
It's been a very good service; they do a lot of follow ups, so that's good. They were out within 48 hours after requesting the service.
Their customer service is awesome. But you need to be more clear on your coverages. For example the pest control could have read 1 time in a calendar year. Instead of verbiage that's unclear
They respond immediately. Never wait long for services.
My experience with them has been good. Their customer support is very helpful.
