Coverage is misrepresented. Says it covers plumbing, except, that it doesn't cover getting to the pipes, so really what am I paying my monthly fee for?
It's been good so far. We recently had the furnace of one of our renters go out, and our refrigerator broke too. So far nothing has come out of that, but both service providers were genuinely nice guys. I think they've done a good job so far. I just haven't heard anything back from Landmark yet.
It is not worth to buy this warranty, becasue the cost is higher than that without warranty.
The issue we are having with our HVAC unit was caused by Landmark's contractor and Landmark will not cover them coming back out to fix it.
Because for a 30 minute call it took over 2 weeks to get someone there and you have sent me no less than 30 emails asking for a review and at least 5 phone calls. I've already filled one out. QUIT BUGGING ME
The service was given to me when I bought the house. I've had to use the warranty several times, but they have a hard time listening to me. I've been having problems with my garbage disposal, and I know it's something to do with the electrical bits. They sent out an electrician to check it out but when he arrived he said it wasn't an electrical problem and left. I had to call them again and they sent out a plumber. Every time I have an issue that's covered in my warranty they handle it. My AC stopped working on two different occasions and they sent somebody out to fix it within a day. Currently I have a water heater that's not working and after coming to look at it they never followed up with it. Besides that, I have some trouble with their policy since it's unclear what is covered and what isn't.
Landmark Customer service is mediocre but the companies they contract with are the absolute bottom of the barrel in quality and service. So although landmark is not the issue they send out seriously questionable contractors so they facilitate the issue.
Made a claim on my leaking kitchen faucet.Their contracted plumber determined the faucet unrepairable. Faucet still functioned while leaking from base. We expected the faucet to be replaced with a like faucet. The plumber left some ugly scratches on faucet too. Landmark said they were only responsible to replace with a ''builders model'' chrome fixture or a settlement which left $78.00 after they deducted the contractors bill.
