slow at processing and approving repairs
Most things that have gone wrong are not covered
Their customer support is mixed; sometimes They're really good, and sometimes it's difficult to get a hold of someone, even after leaving several emails and voicemails. It takes them days to get back to me, so it's been a good and bad experience.
They have exclusions for EVERYTHING. When they do agree to have someone come out, expect to pay at least a $60 fee... and don't be surprised if they try to seize on something the contractor says to find a way out of covering something. I'd never work with them again.
Unable to reach in the evening or weekend and does not cover expenses associated with each occurence
It's almost impossible to get someone on the telephone without having to wait a long time and they're not always readily available. I was routed through different numbers and lines before I got a hold of anyone. I used my warranty within the last two weeks and the problem still persists. At this point, I'm ready to cancel the warranty because it's not worth it.
They really screw you with their small print.
It has been adequate. The first time we used the service to re-key our house, it all went pretty well. It was very easy and they were very prompt with getting somebody out here for us. Though last time I called them it wasn't that great. It was for an electrical issue that we had with the fan, and someone was sent out. The person that came said that the electrical was not covered under the home warranty, so now I'm wondering why we had to pay the $60 fee for them to come if we were not covered. I didn't choose them myself. I have had some problems with the things they promise in their website and our warranty. It said that our things were covered after we made all the payments, but some things were excluded. It took me awhile to get it all straightened out. So far they haven't covered most of the things we have needed to repair.
