Front desk and nursing staff are very cold, not compassionate. Covid patients are in the same waiting room, feels very unsafe. Slow check-in bc they lost my prior medical chart. The "nurse" checking my vitals and doing intake was extremely rude, have never been treated that way. I'm here bc I don't feel well, but don't need to be treated poorly. The PA treating me was nice and respectful, but I will never come back based on check in. Hopefully I don't have covid due to FastMed.

I really should give these folks a zero ... if it were possible. First, I would strongly recommend that potential patients avoid this facility at all costs. I am 56 years old and never in my life have I experienced such rude , incompetent and disorganized service providers. I went there for a simple Covid 19 screening and antibody test . Appointment was at 3:45 and at the time of this review 6:04 pm I still have not been seen. The front desk staff are loud and nasty. Came to take a pre employment drug screen and have waited over an hour as well as the person next to me has said they've been waiting for almost 2 hours. There seems to be zero order on how they call patients back. When asked why it's taking so long to be seen all we're told is there is only 3 people who work here. I'm glad I'm not sick or I'd be real upset. There are 2 other patients waiting as well. This place isn't busy by any means just seems to be no one employed.

I went to FastMed in Durham for a CDL physical. They failed me because they read my blood pressure incorrectly. I figured this out because I went to my doctor concerned about my high blood pressure and both he and his assistant took my blood pressure and it was normal. My doctor explained that if they do not use the correct arm cuff they will get a false high reading. I went back to the FastMed to show them the results from my doctor and explain what I had learned but they did not want to consider that they had been wrong. ... read more

We arrived on Saturday morning at 8:03am - the doors were still locked up and lady at front desk begrudgingly carried herself to the front to unlock them for us. Their posted hours state they open at 8am. Without greeting us or even making eye contact - she turned and while walking to the back instructed us to have a seat and they'd call us up when they're ready. Okay. Girl at the front desk was excellent, but Jesus Christ the wait was over 3 hours long (I checked in online for 9) and was there for almost 4 hours THIS PLACE SUCKS

If you ever have any serious issue DO NOT go to FastMed. I had an injury the Saturday before Christmas and went to FastMed on 751 across from Harris Teeter... I got there 15 minutes before closing and the people at the front desk were very clear that they just wanted to get me in and out as quickly as possible. I was never even actually seen by a doctor. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and sent home with a prescription for high dose ibuprofen, which I told them I had already taken 800mgs and it didn't ease the pain ... read more
The employee looked me in the eye and locked the door in my face today. I called at 350, leaving Target, who would not see us since they had a line and closed at 4. I asked if FastMed could see us if we arrived before 4 and whether they had a wait. The woman "checked with the provider" and said they would see me but would lock the door at 4. Was sent here for a random drug screening. Forms and specimen cups were sent via Fedex the day before. I was instructed to bring the form that was emailed to me and a photo ID. I was asked to fill out a patient information form that included by social security number. I contacted my employer and was told I just had to supply my employee ID number which is NOT my SSN.
