The support of the staff and their kind and positive attitude has been excellent. Sometimes the main lounge can be quite noisy, so it's nice to have the garden room for some peace and quiet. The range of activities is good, but I haven't taken part in many yet as I've only been there for two weeks so far. Perhaps name badges for residents to help us get to know one another. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend it here.

I was informed mum settled in very well at the home. When I visited, I found the carers to be very understanding. Mum is treated with dignity and respect. There was an incident with a crochet blanket. I did not want it put in a tumble dryer, and it was. It came apart in a few places. It took me a long time to make. I'm sure I mentioned that I would wash and dry it.

My dad moved to Ferrars Hall in Dec 2025. He was failing badly at his previous care home, and no one noticed. I was tired of all the battles since he was given the chance to move to Ferrars Hall my dad is living again. He has respect and dignity back, he has started to notice others again, and instead of being fearful, he has relaxed. The staff and carers at Ferrars Hall have all contributed to this positive shift, and I am so grateful to you all.

My mother arrived at Ferrars Hall last November and, much to my relief, has settled exceptionally well into her new home. This is down to a combination of things: the professionalism, attentiveness, patience and warmth of the staff; the excellent facilities; the entertainment organised for residents; and the delicious food (I am told!). A sincere thanks from Mum's family to all those who have contributed to this heartwarming and reassuring situation.

My wife has lived at Ferrars Hall for 9 months now. Before that she attended day care sessions twice a week for a year. This made the transition to residence very smooth as she knew the building and faces. She was welcomed and settled in very well. Despite her dementia she smiles and laughs more and has better mood than when at home with just me. All the staff are simply wonderful. I would like to say how grateful I am to all the staff at Ferrars Hall.Since my mum and dad became residents in February 2025 they have shown compassion , care and kindness above all expectations.My parents are now in a much better place , they are settled , happier and content and I have Ferrars Hall to thank for that.

Seniors on duty are very empathetic and will always try their best in their communication with the family and resident to ensure that needs are met. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. Cleanliness and environment is of a high standard.
