My mother has been at Ferrars Hall for nearly two years now and has received great care and support. She feels happy and secure and has made friends and enjoys the activities. The staff are very caring and happy to talk about any concerns you may have. Ferrars Hall offers a caring community. From the moment you enter the building on visits, you are met by a friendly face who always makes you feel welcome. Whenever there has been a need to speak to someone about the care provision being provided or an update on residents well being, it has been swiftly and efficiently dealt with.

My dad has settled into Ferrars Hall very well. The staff are so welcoming when we visit. My dad often tells me that the ladies are angels helping him throughout the day. He has thrived since moving to Ferrars Hall.

Only given three stars as they seem to have been short of staff in the past three or four months. Long waits for staff to come to my mum’s assistance and a reluctance on her behalf to ask for anything non-urgent as “they are so rushed off their feet”. This includes having a shower which she gets just once a week, she’d like more but feels she can’t ask. The majority of the staff seem nice and caring, one who was awful has recently been dismissed.

My husband stayed in Ferrars Hall for two weeks Respite Care this month. I was full of misgivings about leaving him. However, from the very start, he was warmly welcomed and made to feel safe and 'at home'. I have also felt supported and understood. Caring staff. Light, airy, comfortable surroundings. Good food. Sensitive personal care. Ferrars Hall has been such a great experience for us all - we will always be grateful for this superb step into the unknown.

My wife, who has dementia, has been a resident at Ferrars Hall for one year. Residents have well-furnished rooms, with appropriate en-suite facilities. The staff are most professional in all aspects of their work. They provide personalised care in a dignified, patient, caring and compassionate manner and have handled the extra pressures imposed upon them by the Covid pandemic in an exemplary manner. Fabulous care home and staff. You all do an amazing job caring for all the residents. Thank you so much for taking care of our Nana. We know our Nana can no longer take part in activities with the other residents but we love to see what fantastic things you do with them Thank you so much.

My sister and I visited Ferrars Hall in August 21st when we were looking at care homes for our Mum. We were shown around by a team member and was very impressed with all the facilities. We found the home to be modern, with large comfortable rooms, smart, clean, tidy and well organised. The garden had chairs for the residents to sit in and enjoy the flowers and relax in the sunshine. My father-in-law has been in Ferrars Hall for 6 months and we have been extremely satisfied with the care he has received. He speaks very highly of the staff and they are always friendly and welcoming to us. He has gradually gained weight and they have worked hard to improve his mental health. He chooses not to take part in the activities but, when I visit, there is always something going on! They have been stringent in following Covid guidelines and have kept their residents safe throughout. Many thanks.
