Really should’ve closed during renovations

Disappointed. The construction made it look awful. I waited and watched the emplpyees talk before they even took me to my table. No one noticed i was standing there. The food was honestly really gross.

The fire and ice in Boston was being renovated. I think there should be something on the website warning people. There was no ice cream bar due to this. This made for 2 very disappointed kids.

One of the worst dining experiences we have had. When we first arrived for our reservation we were told they were oversold and could not sit us in the dining room. They then put us in the bar which required us to walk up and down 2 flights of stairs to get our food. The manager was completely unapologetic. Once seated the service was TERRIBLE. We had a reservation and really looked forward to trying this place out....about. 40 minute drive for us. Our waiter was amazing. Super nice and really seemed to care...really care. Otherwise dinner was a disaster. We were forced to move to three different tables by 3 different people in the first 15 minutes of being there. Under HEAVY construction with caution tape on the stairways, sheet rock exposed, windows draped in tarps. The salad was brown and wilted. The wait to have the food prepared was too lengthy forcing us to all wait around. The cooks use the same tools on the raw meat as they do on the pasta dishes. Cleanliness was sub par and once our water was dropped off, the waiter was nowhere to be found. What a disappointing experience for our daughter’s 14th birthday.

I reserved a table online for my daughters birthday party. We had a party of 12 and there was no mention at all about the renovation that was going on. The Atmosphere was very very disappointed after driving 1 hour into Boston in the Pouring rain. The place was also very dirty. The renovation should be done in phases, Not all around.

Had reservations for 4 people and checked in 5 minutes early. Twenty minutes later informed there were no tables upstairs in the restaurant and we would have to be seated in the bar area and informed they didn't have any servers to cover the bar area so the bartender would be responsible as our server. Expressed dissatisfaction and requested to speak to manager and request was not acknowledged. We have not been in a whole and were excited to go but we were thoroughly disappointed. The restaurant is under construction and not inviting at all. They should just close the restaurant for a couple of weeks and do the work and then reopen. We had a terrible seat next to some plastic hanging wall, the restaurant was very crowded due to the lake of seating and with the construction it just did not feel clean and inviting. It was a huge disappointment for my niece's birthday; which was supposed to be a fun night out.
