The food was great, but the server should not have assumed that I wanted her to keep a tip of over 30% just because I paid in cash. I actually had to ask her for change after waiting for her to come back for 10 minutes. She then proceeded to drop all of the bills onto the wet, dirty floor and then gave them to me. Not impressed.

We come to Fire and Ice 2 times a year for our daughters bdays. This was the worst visit I had my daughter party there 7 of us. The person cooking the food was miserable did nothing for my daughter for her bday. He was so rude to the girls that they did not want to go back up and get food so we ended up leaving. I was so upset that this ruined my daughters bday. We said something to the waitress and she just laughed, that was very upsetting. Also it was a million degrees in there that made it so unconformable.

Is a place for a young crowd, and if you don't mind waiting for a long time to cook your food in a very hot room, then is a good place to get a lot of food/options. However but the place is loud, run down and not very clean.. floors are sticky...

I took my daughter and niece here for a special brunch before a big day of back to school shopping on Newbury Street. The decor is dark and dated. The selection of food, although plentiful, was all low quality. My croissant (more like winderbread) had a stale garbage taste. One of the gentleman behind the grill was very bothered that he had to attempt customer service. Lots of staff hanging around doing nothing. We only did one trip to the buffet. There was a fly around our table the entire time we ate. Disgusting food and c... read more

I felt all my food was under-salted. Since I saw that they do not sprinkle salt during the grilling (the way hibachi steak houses do, then I am guessing they need to add it either to their ingredients or to the sauces. Either that or start sprinkling on the grill. Also, the mac and cheese sauce did not taste like any type of mac and cheese sauce and was simply not that tasty for me. The pesto sauce was also not flavorful either. Finally, on the ad I see a fire as part of the cooking but there was none when I went to the rest... read more

Not as good as expected. Asked them to present a surprise birthday cake to my friend after the meal, instead they lit up the candles on that cake right infront of him. The server took forever to come. Not a single server came in the first 30 minutes to ask for drinks. The ingredients tables are complicated and placed in one corner. Took them about 30 minutes to bring the cheque and process it even though our group was of only 5 people.
