I thought Fire and Ice would be a good place to go for my son's 14th birthday. Our reservation was @ 6:45 and we didn't get seated till 7:35! That was disappointing. There were many large parties (30-50) being seated before us, which meant it would take a while to get our food. Although, servers were restocking the food, there were many items that were empty. We had reservations and were seated immediately upon arrive (after waiting in line for 10 minutes behind others who were also checking in). The place was packed. We sat and waited over 5 minutes for someone to come to our table. After no one came, and we saw a party of aboutg 30 walk in, we decided to just get up and help ourselves to the buffett so we didnt' get stuck behind the huge crowd. Loud, annoying and food selection was not good.
Seemed most appropriate for college-aged groups. Packed and chaotic, with long lines for food. I was surprised that my 8 and 10-year olds LOVED it- the scene, the creativity of choosing your food- but for the adults, it wasn't something I'd like to do again. Too loud, Food mediocre, too chaotic. Someone else might love it, but not me.
The waiter was borderline non existent and we had to struggle to get her attention to get drinks. The food was as expected, but we had to wait almost half an hour for our table even with a reservation. I hadn't been here in a long time but they removed the chips and salsa that you would normally get when you get seated, took away the tortillas, and you now have to scoop and serve your won rice bowls. If you want to have a felling like you are a prisoner You should go there but, not any more for me
I went there on a busier day & I had better service. The appetizer were cold & we got them after the fact we got the food, could've been better. Took forever to get a refill let alone find our waiter. If I go there again & the service is lacking that will probably be the last.
Had a reservation for 8 at 6:15 and a separate one for 4 (not Open Table) at the same time. Arrived at 6:05. The party of 8 not seated until about 6:30. The party of 4 left at 6:55 not having been seated.
The service was terrible. We made a reservation for 5:30 for 4 people. We checked in at 5:25 and waited an hour. We went up to them and asked if a table was ready 5 times. The last time we asked they said we had not even checked in! We got feed-up and left the restaurant. It was a great disappointment because Fire + Ice was my favorite restaurant.
