We've been using First Call for years. They sort of came with our house when we bought it, and we kept them on as our oil tank filler of choice. They did a good job of inspecting our furnace when we moved in, and showed us the ins and outs of owning a 1950's model oil furnace. The only time we had to call them for oil was when we ran out of oil on New Year's Day after some fairly heavy usage, and they showed up the next day to fill the tank. Update: within 1 day of my going on the internet and posting my bad experience, I received a message from Buck Sheppard, account services manager. He sent over super, duper tech guy Kery and I am now a happy customer. Buck made sure that someone came out the same day and that by dinnertime my kids and I were warm. Thanks Buck! Thanks, Kery! Although I was unhappy about my earlier experience, I am grateful that someone in this company worked with me to resolve my issues!

Once the weather reached the 90s, our a/c system started acting up. Using First Call before and having Great satisfaction with their service, we called them again. Although the weekend dispatcher was kind, she was a bit scatter-brained when I scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. Come Monday morning, I received anither phone call asking how their service was and had to explain that we had not been serviced yet. I love Tri County Temp Control! They're always courteous, professional, and willing to go that extra mile. I recently was having a condensation issue, they were able to come very quickly and handled the problem effectively! I will definitely recommend Tri County Temp Control to my friends for their heating and cooling needs.

Wow. I am surprised to read the bad reviews. I've had great/good experiences with First Call. Our first house came with a 1950's oil furnace, which we had rebuilt by an independent furnace technician, who unfortunately disappeared after a few years. Thus, we were pretty scared when the furnace started making loud banging noises. Who would fix our furnace? It was almost impossible to find anyone who had the skills. After recently completing a home energy audit and discovering that our entire upstairs was not receiving heat/air, I embarked on the quest for an HVAC specialist. Prepared for the worst, I called 5 companies that were well reviewed on YELP. Eastside H&A was great. The customer service over the phone is stellar. We called this company to come help after another local company failed us...Eastside Heating & Air come to the rescue. We just recently had another furnace fail and they were back to check quickly and for no cost. I highly recommend these guys. Also, both times I got same-day appointments without a ridiculously long window to wait for them!!

So for everyone that's interested everything that they say in their ad they do completely the opposite. They overcharged for parts and prices. They always try to upsell you. They always tell you that your system needs to be replaced. After three service calls miraculously your furnace gets fixed at three times the price of anybody else. After they've already told you that it couldn't be fixed. Then they want to charge you three times the amount that anybody else wants to charge you to install a new furnace.
