Highly unimpressed with this company. The salesman lied to us, had issues with the installation, having issues with their online banking. After the installation the electric company couldnt allow us to turn on because the electrical receptacle was in backwards and supposedly it was an engineering issue. It took several months after the initial installation to turn on the system because of this issue. If I had to do it all over againI would not have gone with this company.
Disqualified us, but didn't tell us why have a perfect credit rating (even though no out of pocket was advertised)
This is a horrible company and they have no idea what they are doing. Took months to finally get the system working for inspection. Issue after issue over the battery and the wiring of the system. They never have anyone that knows anything about battery. They should not be selling something they know nothing about. And now after the system has been finally running for 4 months the battery stops working. I called the support line to have someone take a look at the issue as the system is not even a year old. At first Fluent was great. They got it installed, the system was making power and the numbers seemed good. Then after 6 months the system just stopped working. Fluent told me I had to pay to have someone cone out and diagnose the problem. I told him no because the system is not even a year old and if i have to pay everytime ut breaks down with no explanation, then its not worth it. After we signed up for solar panels the inspector said we needed up upgrade our electrical box and move the mast out from under our covered patio. After paying $3k to an electrical contractor to do those two things and passing inspections from the city, fluent solar said they couldn't install the panels because the mast was not more than 3ft from the ac unit. Horrible experience. Installers came and installed the system damaged my 1 week old roof. Was told they would replace my roof. It's been since March 15 since the system was installed I still do not have ******* fixed and everytime I call I'm told they will look into it and get not response back. Initially, Fluent was proactive, kept me informed through all steps of the process up until the system was turned on and doesn't work. Once the system was turned on and the invector didn't work, I have been stonewalled and no response to my complaint. Fluent was supposed to fix the broken product on April 18, 2023. They did not, they recalled their technician and said no work was to be done. Every time I called in to see when they would fix the problem, I was told they were waiting for the technician's report. Absolutely horrible to deal with. Promise one thing then delivery something less than they promised for significantly more money. If I could, I would have them take the solar panels off, it has been nothing but a headache since I first spoke with them.
Fluent Solar is an absolute scam! We were told that the solar panels and installation would be tied into our monthly electric bill. And for the first 18 months we would have no electric bill. Here's what they really mean; you will continue to have your electric bill AND they will automatically take out $175 from your bank account every month and then write you a check to reimburse you that $175. Now we're paying exactly what we were before the panels and we're stuck with them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
