I wish I would have seen these reviews before doing business with Fluent Solar. When I signed with the salesperson in June 2022 I was promised to have the system up by the middle of August of that year. I had to keep calling Fluent Solar and asking them for the status of my project. I was promised a project manager would call me back. I never spoke with a project manager once even though I was promised that I would get a call (at least 20 times). I wish I had looked at the results of customer contact with ********************** before I did business with them. I am sill waiting, almost exactly 2 months since the panels were installed, to get them inspected; I have paid in full for the panels. Fluent is the worst. I would give a zero if I could! This has been the WORST company to work with! We were promised so many things and yet none of them have been fulfilled! Our system was installed 10/7/22, as of today 2/21/23 the system is STILL not running! We were promised 18 months no payments, which there is a catch, Fluent is actually suppose to pay the first 18 months (what we were told), and yet that hasnt happened, we are paying monthly for a system that is not even running PLUS our ************* bill! 1. The sales guy told me i would get a tax rebate of about ********* money coming to me That was a lie.2. He also said i wouldn't get a electric **** anymore. The very worst company communication I have Ever had the displeasure of working with. Have had over a dozen email chains, phone calls, even texts trying to resolve multiple problems since we first signed the paperwork and 9 months later still no resolution, and over $300 out of pocket expenses on top of the solar panels trying to fix problems that arose. I wish I could give a zero star rating but one is as low as it goes. Caveat emptor: ************ is not to be trusted. Their sales guy came in and gave us a whole song and dance saying theyd install a solar system and backup battery for us and itd be done in just a few months. We signed on the dotted line and within a few days, they had their finance company disburse 50% of the cost of the project to fund the hardware procurement. Fluent has been paid in full. System has failed 2 inspections. ************* will not set meters due to failed inspections. Poor communication. I finally broke down today and threatened legal action.
Fluent is nothing but a bunch of lies and **** offs. I see that I am not the only one they have tried to rip-off for $2500. There price was over $ ****** higher than any other solar company I checked with. I cancelled and heard nothing for about a month they are now trying to extract money from me. Their rep **** called me an offered a $4000 reduction if I would continue with the project and I said sorry but not now. Mistakes, delays, excuses. We were promised a project Mgr would be on site to be certain everything was correct and done in a timely manner. NEVER Happened. We didn't know who to get answers from and problems resolved. Some of the problems: Material not delivered on time. Then part of it was the WRONG material. Job didn't start on time. Then it FAILED inspection because Fluent did not follow specs called out in drawings. Then Fluent's rework crew tried to blame the Inspector for not signing off on their mistakes.
