Hands down the worst rental experience I have ever had. They did not have the vehicle I reserved and then up charged for what was left. They vehicle broke down on the highway. They told me several different things and then advised that I had to get an Uber from the side of the highway because it worked better to town the vehicle to the repair shop. They said get to the airport (DFW) to get a new vehicle. I had to bribe the tow truck driver to actually take me there. Got to the rental counter and it had been closed for 2 hour... read more

DO NOT PURCHASE THE PREPAID GAS! I rented a car at the Ontario Fox rent-a-car and talked to ******** about pre paid gas. She explained that our gas was only $4.45 a gallon, cheaper than anyone else, and that we will fill up the tank and what ever gas you use is what you will pay. So I agreed to that. When I returned the car I had only driven 110 miles and I figured I used between 4 and 5 gallons of gas. When I got my final bill they charged me for 8.1 gallons saying later that they automatically charge a half of a tank. That... read more

I rented a car last week online and chose a smaller intermediate car like a ****** Corrolaa. The Air B and B we had rented for the week had told us that the parking is limited and could only accommodate a smaller vehicle so that's what I rented. When we arrived on Tuesday and waited in line for close to ONE HOUR, we were given a very larger Dodge Charger. The staff member we worked with (****) was extremely rude, aggressive with the upsell & appeared to be sexist. His rude attitude with my spouse was intolerable. I would have left but, after the LAX shuttle dropped us off, there was nowhere else to go. DON'T RENT FROM HERE!!! Spend the extra money for a reputable rental car company.

Not open in the morning as we were told. Had to leave car and take Uber to airport. Very unsatisfactory.

I rented a car through Priceline and the car company I got the car from was Fox. It is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I paid Priceline in full, including taxes and fees. *** charged me for 2 extra days claiming I didn't return the car until the evening after my flight left *******! I was back in ************! They added an additional $300 to my bill, including some kind of subscription for $55.18. Worst company ever!!! Picked up a car after a long flight and was told under state law I had to purchase insurance that I later found out was not true. Very deceiving. Stay away!!

*************** stay away from them. Watch out for their cancellation charges also. They will only return 75% money to the credit card, even with a cancellation policy. The so-called full refund is just for 'store credit' --- store credit for a rental car company with poor services?

I rented for two weeks a car with Fox rent a car. When I arrived to Fox in ********* on 04/21/2024 it was impossible to conclude the rent because we paid with my wife' French credit card on line and the driver on the contract was me . So the renter cancelled our reservation. I asked at the desk to register my wife as the driver but it was not possible ! I would like to know how to be refund.I booked the car on line with **** /MemberDeals but their claim office said to me I need to contact *** and Fox give me your contact.
