Very unsatisfied! Twice I have had to pay more than expected. I have never in all the prior times Ive rented from Fox accepted the insurance. But apparently the fast talking agent got it in and I didnt notice it when I was told to scroll and initial. Same thing recently when I advised the agent that I would need my rental later than when I reserved it. She said that would be taken care of but apparently not. I was charged a $25 late fee for bringing it back when I said it would. She did not change my contract like I expected... read more

Its crazy how this company can still be in business. This is unheard of. They need a revamp and need the corporate office to know whats going on. Im surprised they are not on the national news yet. Ignore the reply from them because its either automated or they simply just dont care and try to get you with the price upfront and then hit you in the back end after your already locked in and reserved. STAY AWAY!

Absolutely horrible!! I booked through Travelocity for $120; got charged an additional $123 AFTER returning the car, citing on the receipt a damage waiver (which I declined verbally to the counter person) @ $26.99/day (more than the car rental itself). I then received a bill in the mail from Fox for (3) tolls that had a $15/toll administrative fee (which I was never warned of). Rented trough Rentalcars.com. Got there and said the car I was promised wasn't there and that I needed an upgrade for the snow.It was late I said yes, I had no option. I told them to add the toll coverage. My last bill was almost double of my original paid car and still got toll fees later, which I am trying to pay to avoid further fees. I am fairly certain that the upgrade and the toll fees are a deliberate tactic to scam customers. They need to be audited. I recently rented a car with Fox and upon review of my invoice I noticed I was charged for two items I had asked to be waived. The agent **** a line next to these two items and had me initial to verify that I'm waiving the two options. The printed line item next to one of the options waived even said "waived". I was not upset on the initial call and I could understand how the counter agent could make this error. It was crowded facility and there were many people in line to rent a car. I am very sorry that there was some confusion on your rental charges, we do not have a sign to decline option. The signature indicates that you accept all charges on your summary of charges. As these items were signed for both on the rental agreement as well as the signed summary of charges it indicates that these were acknowledged and accepted at the time of pick up.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. DO NOT USE. They are not forthcoming with their rental policy when it comes to tolls. I received a bill for $15 in tolls with a $90 administration fee. My second bill was $15 with a $60 admin fee. There is absolutely no way to get in touch with them to dispute. Their online dispute form says "your submission couldn't be completed" and I've been on hold with their customer service department for an insane amount of time. I should be paying $43 and instead I'm paying $193 for a few tolls. It's... read more

Stay AWAY! Rented a car from their ***** Location for a week. They charged me an extra $90 a week after I returned the car, god only knows for what. Then I got a letter in the mail that I had received 6 tickets for $1.25 each for driving in a express *************** they were then charging me $19.00 processing fee for each ticket. No questions asked. So for each ticket that I got for $1.25 they were charging almost 1000% to process it. I will never use this company again.

Ive rented from them twice, and have gotten baited and switched on both times. I reserved an inexpensive car online, and when I arrived to pick up, they said the car is not available, but I can have a Dodge Charger (which is not at all what I wanted) or pay more to upgrade into a car that was available. Seems very shady. And it doesnt help that their representative gives you the bad news with a sour face and no sympathy.

The car I reserved in *** was not available when I checked in so I was "upgraded" to an over priced mini SUV. The vehicle had ********** plates on it and after a few miles I turned on the heater and the vehicle reeked with cannabis smells. I had to drive in the cold with windows down and at work I had to go through a security check because of the pot smell. I was billed $400 for cleaning when I returned the vehicle because of the smoke smell! The fees they charged were astronomical compared to honest rental companies. DONT Y... read more
