2018 Ford Explorer Sport - took it to Frontier Ford for a recall related to the roof rack covers falling off. Their initial "solution" was to install TINY PLASTIC CLIPS. I walked out telling myself they were going to fall off - just a matter of time. This review reflects their service dept. and not sales. I thought about trading my 2018 raptor for the new raptor R. I took it in to get a trade in estimate and upon inspection they noticed the firewall had a small amount of rodent damage. Rat chewed up the black liner probably the size of a football. They told me insurance will cover it however it is a big job and they do it all the time. They had to pull out the motor to replace the firewall between the engine bay and cabin. For more than 2 hours I have been trying to get ahold of someone who can help me find out if my car is ready to be picked up from repairs. Calls to service advisor goes to voice mail. Repeated calls to service department produce promises of return calls regarding the status of my car that never happen. Next time my car needs dealership repairs, it will not happen here because of lack of timely response.
I brought my 2016 Ford Escape Titanium (purchased from the dealership) in September 2024 because the Sync system was randomly resetting the Bluetooth connection to my phone. I asked for a "reset" back to a more stable software version. worst customer service from the service department. this place is a joke. the reps need to learn customer service and the advisors either need to learn how to answer the phone or return calls because it takes forever to get an update and then get upset because your frustrated that no one can give a straight answer. my used ford car was bought from this dealership (and let me note that this is the 2nd lemon vehicle that i have bought from this dealership) and in one year my car has spent more time in their repair shop than i... read more
Absolutely unacceptable communication issues and misinformation from this place. Don't buy a non ford vehicle these guys have no idea what is going on with my requests for information. I try to cancel an extended warranty in October and am told it will be done. Now in December I'm finding out they can't cancel it and I need to contact the warranty company. I wish I never purchased from here and they don't deserve even 1 star.
I recently had my 2018 F-150 in for a transmission service and was told I needed new rear brakes and the front brake pads only had 9mm of thickness left and it would be advisable to replace them as well. I agree with the above. I was also told that they had the parts and time available to do the work and they would also install new rotors and quoted me a price. Very pushy salespeople who came in with a preposterous low offer on my trade-in. They were on it with communication but something felt very off trying to work with them. I would recommend trying elsewhere.
My son and I got a used car at Ford Frontier on 02/24 so we negotiate the rate for finance and they only gave us a option of 21% a year and then we accept it, when we was about to sign the contractor somebody else the e offered us a warranty and we got it. One day I decided to read the whole contract and I figured out that their cheated us by saying that they only had 21% rate be offered to us they did have a 16.17 % rate as well but they hid it from us.
