Before you consider buying a Ford, Google Ford Ecoboost engine class action and recalls, and consider getting a more reliable car. My Ford Escape Titanium needs a $8k engine replacement due to the poor manufacturing design and I guess I should be lucky that my car didn't catch fire in the wilderness or on the highway. Noone told us about it at the dealership, of course. I just lost a 7 year old paid off car. Don't be like me, stay away from Ford.
Took in my Mach-e for a 3 year/30000 mile service (inspection and tire rotation) and recall repair. They charged $113 and tried to give it back with 4 new warning lights on and having forgotten the tire rotation. Did finally fix it and gave me a coupon for a free service but refused to refund my money and Service Manager Ted kept insisting they did nothing wrong.
Beware of Ford! I purchased a 2018 Ford Fusion and after 123K miles the engine block cracked and coolant began leaking into the engine, causing the car to intermittantly stall. A major safety hazard. I took the car into the Ford Dealership and had to pay $300 for a diagnostic to learn this information. When I contacted Ford Customer Service I was told the warranty had passed and there is zero they can do to support me in getting the car repaired. Unable to get any help from the following people for the last 48hours Victor, Fernando, and Christian, all front office,.even after leaving voicemails, being transferred, etc. No matter how busy your branch might be, take time to take care of your customers.
Without any question, the worst experience of attempting to purchase a vehicle in my entire life. Not only disorganized, as others have said - I must have spoken to at least four different sales people and two different "managers" in one week, not one of them knowing who the other people were or that we'd spoken to them already - but also just simple, straight-up, lying multiple times throughout the ordeal. We purchased a new truck from this dealership 8 days ago and still haven't received a copy of our contract via email as promised nor a receipt for the cash down we gave them. I called day #3, day #5, day #7 and emailed day #4. I wish 0 stars was an option - The Frontier Ford service team is incredibly irresponsible and impossible to get in contact with. After being convinced to pay almost $6000 for a bumper to bumper warranty on the vehicle I purchased with them, I have spent over a year trying to get the same issues fixed with false hopes and empty promises from the service team. This dealership is clearly mismanaged. Sales reps and finance aren't on the same page and nobody ever calls you back. My lender was ready to fund but needed some corrections made on the purchase order. I followed up three times to get the information needed to complete the purchase and never heard back from finance. The sales rep didn't help and told me to email the finance manager. It seems like they don't care about your business here so save yourself the hassle and just go somewhere else.
