After searching through over a dozen lenders, I came across Garden State Loans to the desk of Jacob Matthew Snow who was the loan officer that I worked with. We were trying to purchase a triplex to live in and rent out which presented more difficulty than a single family home purchase. The Garden State Home Loans team was great to work with. They were able to close on my loan in less than 30 days, and also match the rate and fees that I was looking for. For my first home purchase I used a large bank for my mortgage, and the experience was awful. GSHL was all about personal attention and service. Everyone was extremely accessible at any time day or night, including the partners of the firm, which was outstanding. I would highly recommend considering the GSHL team for your future lending needs.
I was very untrusting of companies due to past experiences of me being lied to when I bought my first home. I was 100% not easy and I bought in my bank to compete. Matt and his company beat there interest rate but more importantly it was faster and an easier process. I would definitely recommend using them because I will for my next property
I worked with Matthew and Jonathan on the purchase of my first home. They were very quick to respond to any questions I had. They had an online portal to easily share all of my documents and the entire process from start to finish went extremely smooth with no deviations from the original communicated timelines. I would definitely recommend GSHL to anyone looking for a mortgage broker and my realtor also indicated they were some of the best they had every worked with.
