First time I got service there was for my big birthday party. I had hair and make up done. They are all very friendly, nice, professional, welcoming. I am just not sure I liked what I received. I kind of liked the hair, and I kind of liked the make up. It is hard too explain what I mean, but here is an example: With my make up- I loved what she did with my eyes, but I could not stand the lips. Overall- satisfied with their services and professionalism. I just need more detail next time.

My son and I went in for a facial for his birthday. We also got a eyebrow waxing. Not sure how many men use these services. I saw a few men but most were women. Vida gave me the facial and gave both my son and i an eyebrow waxing. Thomas had Kelly for the facial. It felt good to be pampered and get our face and skin much cleaner.

I just got my hair cut for the first time at Gene Juarez with Zoe, and I have to say I could not be more pleased. The atmosphere is very relaxing, Zoe was very attentive to my wants for my hair, and she did a great job. As a former stylist I can evaluate the experience on another level, and I am pleased to say I now have my new salon and stylist. Thank you Zoe for making my day!!

I've been coming to Gene Juarez for 25 years for haircuts and color. I've been seeing the same person for my color the entire time. She's become a great friend and is SO talented. It's great to just go sit in her chair and let her do what she thinks will look best on me. I was getting balayage and all over color on alternating appointments. Customer service contacted me. She was very personable, the type of interaction I have come to expect from Gene Juarez. The call center they are using may need training. Gene Juarez Appointment process is inconvenient. I had questions. One service was not in the online appointment option. The other service was new for me and needed a consultation, also not online. My hair colorist was Nazila and my stylist was Jett. I came in with limited knowledge of what kind of coloring I wanted, so I told Nazila I wanted a partial foil. After she looked at my hair and seeing a picture of what I thought I wanted, she suggested a full balayage. Since I learned she's worked there for 22+ years, I trusted her judgement and I was happy I did! The color is AH-MAZING! And I learned so much from her. I had such a great experience here with Stevie getting new balayage highlights for the start of fall. Stevie was thoughtful, detailed, and meticulous and spent extra time with me perfecting the highlights on my thick hair. My hair turned out so much better than I expected! Came to get a custom massage here recently. It was ok. I've only had 2 professional massages so don't have much to compare it to. Dawn was my massage therapist. She did a superb job at making sure I'm relaxed and calm but I was expecting to not feel knots in my back anymore and it's been a day and they're back. I did say to keep the massage light so maybe that's why I feel like I still need another back massage this morning..?? This is an example of just getting the right stylist, and Dorian is fantastic! I have been going to this Bellevue salon for almost 2 years, and there have been good experiences and then 2 very mediocre ones, largely because my usual stylist had left.
