Any questions I've had, where I am now and where I lived prior, their staff was very kind about it. As well, when trees fell on lines during storms, etc. where I used to live they were available 24/7 for things like that. I respect that.

Gexa Energy is the easiest energy company I've worked with. Their website is user friendly. Their bills are easy to find and are straightforward. They even kept power going through Hurricane Harvey. I really love the care they put into customer service.

Gexa is the best energy company we have used. We use less than 1000 kwh per month (500 on average) and they give us a credit of $25 each month for that. Sometimes our bill is even negative and is subtracted from the next month's bill. I thought for sure it was just a ploy to get new customers and it wouldn't be renewable, but I just renewed our plan, and our net charge for using about 500 kwh is now around 3 cents!! I signed up in November at my new apartment, the estimate for my monthly bill was 100 per month, first month was $199, not bad as I had family over to cook and play music in December, January there was a freeze here in dallas, and they kept sending me updates from the 01/15/26 to 01/25/26 about my bill, and it was increasing based on the temperature and how much heat or electricity I would use, at the end of the period (February 4) my bill was 380 dollars and they gave me a 125 credit, my issue was, I was gone for half a mon... read more

We just signed up with Gexa 2 days ago and already not liking it. I couldn't get anyone on chat yesterday, and today my first call to customer service was b.s. Of course they are all foreigners who can't understand..so i got one that was a total smart a, mocking me and being a complete jerk! He then transferred me to ******* after I asked for a different cs agent. I have no issue with paying a little 150 bucks to change companies. Get your s together or we WILL move our service!

Salesperson came into our business impersonating a West Penn Power employee. Tricked the owner into giving over our invoice so they could get our account number. They then put their energy supplier on our bill. When we deactivated it, they said we owed over $1,000. Which we refuse to pay; they are now trying to send us to collections. Do not trust this company; they are frauds.

Gexa’s customer service agents are polite, but the company itself is deceptive and predatory. They punish loyal, returning customers with outrageous fees—I was charged a $300 cancellation penalty. The shocking part? Even after paying that fee, I’ll save over $1,000 by switching away. That tells you everything you need to know. I hope this company loses every single customer until they stop gouging people.

Effing horrible. DOUBLED my rate the day my term expired to 50% above current market rate. Avoid them at all costs.
