Gexa Energy is one of worse utility companies. My bill with them is the highest and continues to go up. When I picked Gexa as my utility provider No one was living in my house only thing that was running is air conditioner but a bill was higher that when someone actually lives in daily. Other companies l had before were better than Gexa. I’ve been in my home for many years and never in my life had such a high bill. I noticed a higher rate charged. (It’s in the fine print) I will be shopping and terminating this contract early, no way I can endure this ridiculous bill and continue to get ripped off.

In the beginning they were okay but they state one thing and do another. I am now going elsewhere for sure. The bills get higher and higher yet nothing has changed in my household. Customer service is horrible.

High prices- very tricky with how they explain your cost for KWH usage. They advertise 12.6 which doesn’t include TDU charges and glad this bill credit if you use 1,000 -2,000 kWh. But actually what’s happening is your paying 17.9 cents per KWH plus TDU 4.8 cents on average 22.5cents per KWH total. It’s not possible with bill credit to even get close to what they of 12.6. Gexa Energy is a scammer! They hike up your bill and blame it on your consumption. It’s only me and my wife in our house. But for some strange reason our bill gets higher every month around this time. Nothing has changed, we still do the same as usual, but the bill went from 200 to 400, now it’s 600. So I guess next month it will be 800 to a 1000!! This is the worse Electric company we could’ve chose. Please let 2025 get here, so this contract would be up.! Don’t choose Gexa unless you like being robbed!!!!!

Absolutely deceptive renewal tactics for existing customers. Was reached out to for extending my current contract which was approximately $0.14/kwh. The new renewal for 24 months was approximately the same rate per kwh, so I agreed to remain a loyal customer and not shop around for electricity provider. When my first bill came back (July), it was 2X higher than June despite the use of only 10% more kilowatts of usage. I think I’m being completely overcharged and it’s a total rip off and waste of money literally complete waste.
Horrible horrible company to get as your electric provider!!!! They overcharge on everything. My tdu fees were more than 100 dollars during the summer and my bill would be coming out to 700.00 per month!!! This is robbery! Please don’t get this company, they are overcharging on the usage of electricity!!
