Good experience signing up for Gexa Energy, was a previous customer, last time I signed up what they told me about the KW charges were correct no additions to the billings.

I think Gexa Energy is the biggest Rip off Electric company I have ever dealth with. Here is my reasoning. I went with them after several years with another company and saw that Gexa supposedly had a lower rate on power to choose website. My first bill was the highest bill in ten years at my current address. I called them and they said the bill was correct. I did not realize that the more energy you use the higher your bill goes. I had my light bill set up for payment on 10/10/2019 for the amount 190.89 and gexa charged another amount of 190.89 on 10/11/2019. So they charged me twice! Tried to get it resolved they stated it would take 5 to 10 to refund my money? They keptputting me on hold never talk to a manger to have this resolved at all. Very unprofessional. That was not my fault now I am here with any money. That’s all I had. I don’t understand how gexa will not refund when it was clearly gexas fault. I have tried to reach someone on the line from Gexa for 2 or 3 days now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've called the "corporate" number as well to no avail. I need assistance with a billing issue.

I just did an audit of sorts on my electric bill. I've been using Gexa Energy since April 2018. From 2018 to 2019 my usage increased slightly below 13%. I rounded high. However, my costs increased just slightly above 29%. I called and spoke at length with a supervisor (Rosa) who, in the end, said, "It is what it is". (I'm paraphrasing). BTW, I'm in Houston. I’ve stayed on the phone waiting for a soul to pick up on the other end for over 5 hours. I signed up for the service and instantly regret it. Ive been trying to cancel the request all day. Just a complete waste of s company, failure all around. I’m waiting for them to send me a bill so I can raise all hell.

I have been a customer for 2 months now. I had questions about my first full bill and wanting to understand credits applied and how the total amount is figured as the bill breakdown is not very intuitive. I have sent 5 emails in the last 2 weeks and called 3 different "customer support" phone numbers. The only option in any of these phone numbers is to get through 6 or 7 automated stages only to find 2 options, pay your bill or be redirected to *****.
