My meal and my brother in laws meal was bad. We ordered fish and chips and it was made like dry chicken strips. I couldn’t eat mine but the manager took our meals off the bill and brought us a bread pudding dessert like I have never had. It was superb. My husbands burger was excellent. Just don’t order the fish and chips.
Came with our friends for dinner on New Year's eve. We were looking forward to a prime rib dinner which 3 of the four of us ordered at our table. The consistency of the meat did not seam right. All of us felt it was too raw. My wife and I asked for a box to take ours home which we left there by mistake. Our plan was to try to cook it more at home for a snack. As we were leaving a man at the entry asked us how our dinner was and i told him. He got us a couple of cards for a free appetizer. When I got home I realized that it w... read more
Food was average, nothing extraordinary, was expecting better. The service was not very good. Waitress was not attentive and couldn’t remember what we asked for twice. Ambience was good. It was oddly quiet for a Friday night, many open tables around the restaurant at 8:30. We would only return to get a drink at the bar. Would not eat the food again.
We never got to eat. It felt like a cafeteria and was very loud. I personally would not go back or recommend.
We sat for several minutes. The manager got our drinks & said our waitress would be with us in a few minutes. It was about 20 minutes before she came & took our order. Food took forever. Around 30 minutes or longer before she brought our food. It was not correct. Prime rib not cooked correctly. She took them back. Left the fries. Took the broccoli & mashed potatoes. Waited several minutes for ketchup & mayo. My husbands prime rib Manhattan has no aus jus. It was very dry. He took one that was left from one of the prime ribs ... read more
Had a reservation for 5 pm on a high hat table ,got there and none were available, told the server and got seated in a booth , then got a email stating I had not shown up for my reservation, not happy with that , prime rib was not very hot , this was not a good experience for having a reservation and getting seated in the back , been to this restaurant many times , Not a good evening
Had an older, new waitress who had trouble hearing when she took our drink & food orders. We had to repeat orders several times. We had to ask her numerous times where our cocktails were and she said the bar was backed up. Not my problem...they need to hire addl bartenders, after all it was a Sat evening. Took quite awhile to get our food as well. Double hamburger was mediocre and you could tell they were frozen patties...tasteless too. French fries were cold. My husband’s green beans were undercooked. First time our friends... read more
My friend got the fish and chips, and it was literally the saddest looking plate I’ve ever seen. Portions are small and it’s overpriced. I got the apple stuffed pork chop. Very bland tasting with zero flavor. I think cardboard would taste equivalent to the pork chop. The ambiance is nice, and a neat layout. However, with tons of restaurants to choose from, this one shouldn’t be on your list.
This place has great potential and it looks great. We like to drive a little way for a unique spot like this but our service was poor and the food was very average. We took a party of 6 but I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it to others.
