We could not recommend this veterinary facility more highly. Our dog was unfortunately plagued with a number of health issues in the last few years of his life. He had several fatty tumors, but one malignant tumor on his leg that we opted to have removed and followed up with weeks of radiation treatment. It extended his life by years, and while it was a challenging time for the family, we are glad that we were able to help him. Brought my dog here on two separate occasions a few months apart and had nothing but a great experience! The staff was super friendly and took great care of my pup!

Vet staff is super friendly but the wait is insane. 6-8 hours with a pet in distress is just cruel. Unfortunately, they are the only vet in town with emergency services.

Loved our experience immediately. We know we are in great hands with this time. The team was very thorough & didn't miss a question or concern. Everything was explained well. We didn't feel pushed in any direction. Honesty was & is always appreciated. Made us feel comfortable & safe

Could not be happier with my experience. Everyone from the front desk staff to the technicians and doctors was helpful and lovely. They were very knowledgeable and caring with my dog. The visit was expensive because my dog needed a few different tests and an ultrasound, but each individual item was about the same price as I'd seen at our regular vet but the service and knowledge of the staff was far superior. I don't write many reviews but they deserve one. I had mixed feelings going in as an emergency with my dog after reading some of these reviews but my experience was everything I could have asked for and I also understand where some frustrations from others may come from. My dachshund was diagnosed with IVDD and was taken to his normal vet to be seen. They prescribed medication and crate rest and said if he didn't improve in 2-3 days they would refer me to a neurologist in Sugar Land, as that is where they send most of their... read more

The doctors and technicians at GCVS are so knowledgeable and so willing to spend time explaining and discussing that I can't imagine going anywhere else. Medical care is the most important consideration for me.

Unfortunately my my guinea pig didn't make it but I wanted to take the time to acknowledge Dr Batek for caring for Penny so well. She obviously cares about her patients and their family very much. She frequently updated me and seemed like she genuinely cared. I did not feel like I was alone that night thanks to her. I also want to thank Dr Pacheco for her patience and kind words during Penny's final moments. My dog had a very serious medical emergency. Its only thanks to Dr. Garcia and Dr. Mitchell that's she's still alive. the Communication was excellent and Kenisha did a lot to calm my nerves. I don't want another emergency, but I know where to go if I need too. I am forever grateful.
