The mechanic that worked on my truck had to fight with GWC warranty company. Even after fighting with them, GWC still paid for the bare minimum. I bought this warranty thinking there would be no issue if it came time to use it. My truck had a minor issue, and I still had to pay out of pocket. I would not recommend GEC Warranty to anyone.
The cancel refund took forever...the dealer told me check loss.....check cashed....no check ??? Has been very uncomfortable A process
I paid good money for my warranty and they wanted 800$ to change my spark plugs! I am really offended the whole reason I bought the warranty was so I could get repairs done without cost due to the fact I paid a lot for the warranty!
The repair shop was supposed to do more than the work they did, I was not informed on everything that was diagnosed and covered until afterwards.
I purchased my used vehicle with a years worth of coverage on Christmas Eve! Not even 48 hours later, I got in and started the vehicle when the battery light came on and within minutes the car was smoking with the smell of burning wires. Vehicle was towed to Mechanic who was advised by the dealership to contact GWC to file a claim. I was called and asked to tell what had happened. My car has been in the shop for 2 months.
Denied my claim so I’m canceling your crappy service and plan to discuss it with the dealership to make others aware .
Absolutely no issues with this company. I’ve had several problems with my truck and they have stepped up every time.
Brakes are failing on my vehicle however when the “preferred mechanic “ I took it to contacted you, the repair was not approved. The brakes do not act up every day but I am still experiencing brake issues . I have a pic of the warning notice and am taking my vehicle back to the mechanic again if you refuse to repair such a serious safety issue as this I will contact governmT safety council or a lawyer.
