GWC Warranty worked with the shop provided to get my truck fixed immediately. But I have $100 deductible that endedup being $322 and some change. That would be fine except my contract for the warranty says I will only pay $100 deduct. Unless there's some hidden small print that tells you otherwise, which is sneaky a** sh*t if there is!

I was very happy that I had acquired this insurance when I bought my vehicle — the only thing that was disappointing was the fact that I was told I would only be responsible for the 100.00 deductible - but, when my car was repaired, I ended up owing over 200.00!

I have already been in contact with David Hagood about my experience. I will summarize here however. I purchased the "platinum" package thinking my car would be repaired to the highest standards. I was told at the dealership that my warranty would not allow "genuine" gm parts and that they would have to purchase cheap aftermarket parts for my 2013 Escalade. This was unacceptable to me. Furthermore the warranty would not pay the standard shop rate of $120 per hour and only allowed $105 per hour. I was forced to pay an a... read more

Overall good experience. My only 2 issues are the allowed labor rate is less than prevailing where I live at many garages. This creates an inconvenience. Also, there is little flexibility or understanding in case-by-case measures. I needed coils replaced. That requires plug replacement. I understand you wouldn’t cover plugs normally, but if it is in the context of the replacement of coil failure, the plugs must be replaced and should be covered. It’s not like they can replace the coils and leave the old plugs in place... read more

Was told the lines for the steering pump was not covered even though the loss of fluid is what most likely caused the steering gear to fault. Also had to pay taxes on parts even though there was a deductible.

I was surprised that I had to pay a diagnostic fee and the sales tax for a service that was covered under my warranty.

I didn’t rate you, y’all are fraud. You didn’t give me the option to rate you, then thanked me for my good rating. I will be reporting you to the BBB. I have paid for this warranty and two years in I need the drive train fixed, you guys refuse to put a new or rebuilt one on, only used. After a week it was in worse shape than it was taking it in so back in the shop it went for another flipping month ( my car was gone 2 months while we continued to pay our car payment of 400 a month) yet again you only put used parts again. 3 ... read more

I've found that they will never cover the full repair. Yes they'll pay something but don't expect to walk out simply paying the deductible. Ever. They will price the cheapest part that "might" fit in the car. Forget factory or OEM, then you make up the difference. Even if your repair shop finds a lightly used part they will go out and find a higher mileage, cheaper part and refuse to pay more. As someone who can work on a car they have mostly cost me money and not saved me enough time. It's better than nothing but I have be... read more

Glad we bought the warranty because it ended up saving us about $1000 in the end. Wasn’t the most convenient though as we waited for the warranty company to come out and inspect the damages for two days and were without our only vehicle for 6 days.
