Staff wasn’t friendly. Room was dirty. No thermostat. Everyone who checked in had to go back to the desk because the cards weren’t activated properly. Continental breakfast wasn’t maintained well.
We did not get the room we ordered. I was disappointed. I was told they would hold my card. Not only did they hold my card, they took the funds right away off of my card. I won’t recommend this location to anyone.
Paid for 2 queen bed room for 2 night's, they say Expedia overbooked and only have 1 king bed available for a family of 4 and no price adjustment. Second day they amend and found us a 2 queen bed for which I have paid but had to wait until check in at 3pm for new room. Counter staff was not that cooperative.
Hotel lost my confirmation with Amazon!! I am told to re-pay double of my paid cost for the room. It spent me almost 1 hours in long distance calling Amazon.ca to clarification . But so far no apologies from either party is received!!! I have been using Amazon for long long time . This case makes me very disappointed!!!!
Only one elevator working so you wait sometimes 10 minutes to go up or down. The free breakfast was terrible. Somehow the eggs weren't good and the pork sausage or whatever it was seemed significantly under cooked. Sign says ice on specific floors but only the basement actually had ice machine working.
The customer service at the Hampton Inn Manhattan-Chelsea is abysmal! During our one-night stay last weekend, my husband and I experienced an unpleasant situation. To our surprise, we were charged for water from the room, even though we never consumed any. What's worse is that the charge was processed after we had already checked out. Stay somewhere else I’ve never stayed in a hotel like this before. The bed completely killed my back I couldn’t even walk 10 minutes to work. The room floors had sticky and gross stains in the main area and in the bathroom. Honestly worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.. very disappointed with Hampton Inn… will never stay here again.
Location is okay but other than that everything was horrible…
