Harbor view Before we got to he hotel I had asked for something to be set up for my fiancé birthday on check in when we received the room nothing had been set up and completely ruined the surprise. Our AC didn’t work and had to put a wondow unit in to finish our stay. The concierge were very helpful but the people at the front desk didn’t seem to have their act together. The room was dated and definitely needed some upkeep.
Mold /mildew/ renovations oct Dropped something on bathroom floor. When picking it up noticed mold and mildew on the wall and toilet that wasn’t visible otherwise. Also a lot of wood replacement needed in exterior. It is my understanding that major renovations will begin oct 2018
Room was not as it appeared on the website - very dated/small and had stains on the furniture.
Room hot air conditioning in the building we were in was being replaced. The room got to 86. The people at front desk just said it will be fixed in a couple days. Hotel wasn’t 25% occupied but they didn’t offer to put us in one of the other buildings where the AC was working. Piillows worn out!!
The condition of the hotel is questionable, the key fob to open the door took multiple times, staying in the back building isn't as charming. The hot water is very inconsistent.
Hotel in town water views I was disappointed. Very understaffed. The staff that was there was not friendly. They refinished the floor was n the lobby while we were there. Had we known would not have stayed there. When I mentioned this they did not even apologize. There was a lot of deferred maintainence needed. We went off season. However I cannot imagine paying high season pricing at this property.
Cold room Cold night temperature dropped to 60 degrees front desk said heater not working. That should not had happened there should be a backup plan for that. Not just let the customers stay in cold rooms overnight.
Not well maintained Pros: Beautiful view from the Light House Grill restaurant. Quiet environment. Room door does not lock. The guest next door accidently walked in. Good thing I was still clothed. Complained to the front desk but was still not fixed. The room was in a separate building. There is no clear sign to show directions.
