Old Hotel Needs Work While rooms were large, they were old, dirty and in need of repair

Nice hotel when it was new, but not kept up. We had a party of 3 adults and 3 children. There were only 4 free breakfast vouchers for the 6 of us (two rooms), and you had to go through the casino which was off-limits to children to get the breakfast. So they let us use them in a small coffee bar in the lobby, but we still had to buy 2 breakfast entrees. We had a choice of three; a breakfast burrito, sausage muffin or a breakfast croissant...at about $8 each, and my breakfast burrito tasted like the meat was rancid (spoiled).... read more

Misserable We were over run by Lady bugs. They were in our room as well as in our bed. We had to strip bed a couple times a night and I was on crutches unable to put pressure on my foot. Was suppose to have been relaxing 2 days but didn't turn out that way. Compt. Rooms for black couple for same issue and I was told besides the Bugs was everything ok. Horrible Customer Service. Very uncomfortable bed! It was a clean place & looked really nice but sleeping was awful. I hated the bed & the pillows were so uncomfortable. Will NOT stay there again.

A very disappointing stay My stay was awful. The front desk was not that helpful, one employee in particular was extremely rude. The entire place reeked of smoke. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Hotel staff was the rudest we've ever encountered Hotel staff was so rude, rooms were substandard, casino was ok. I would never stay here again not would I ever recommend it to anyone I know!
To the LEFT! Stay was for business. Overall it was pleasant, but my expectation of the hotel were not met, especially after viewing their website. Harlow's is in need of a major overhaul, starting first with a top-notch ventilation system. Guests are welcomed with cigarette smoke at the sliding door. Even after getting to my room, the smoke cloud followed me and was even worse when the AC unit was used. Caperting was filthy, from the elevators to the lobby. I would not stay at this hotel again. My reservation was cancelled by the hotel and had to be re-instated because the overnight manager cancelled it, even after I spoke to a desk employee that put notes in the system as to my arrival. My toilet ran over on the floor for 2 days and it took a phone call from a relative to get it fixed Sunday night. I was told it was happening all over the hotel, when in fact, it was not because my sister did not have this problem in her room. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room ... read more
30th high school class reunion Came back to my hometown for my 30th class reunion, figured the newest hotel property at the newest casino would offer everything one could want when we weren't at the reunion gatherings. The rate was higher than other weekends, but the expectation was that this place would be at least as good as other places I've stayed.
