We’ve been going to Haven for brunch for years; it was a great value and a varied menu. Imagine our surprise—and not a pleasant one—when we suddenly were given a new menu with far fewer choices and, of course, more expensive. If they’d just raised their prices but kept the menu the same or close to it, I’d have been delighted, but I just don’t think I can adequately express my disappointment. I really wanted to like this place but the tables were way too close together, so much so that the servers couldn't help but have their butts in your face as they were servicing tables. Skip the beignets, but rest of menu works.

Greens were way too salty. Everything else lovely
The food was average at best. For the prices they charge, the food should be delicious. They now charge for the bread that they used to bring to table complimentary. Why would I pay $35.00 for an entree and then have to pay for the bread. The fries were old and cold. . We sent back the first haystack and they brought us a fresh one and at least it was warm. Great food for Brunch but unfortunately we were seated at a window table. Sun streaming in at brunch made the table so hot and uncomfortable it negatively colored our experience. No shades or blinds could be lowered. Also, they charged $2.00 for toast! I’ll have to rethink another visit.
Most of the meal was great—food was good and service was fine. The negative review is only from the weirdly misleading menus. I ordered a $100 bottle from the reserve list and got a 2017 vintage instead of 2015. I had a tableful of friends so I let it go. Then after dinner drinks were up-charged for being neat or on the rocks...how else does one drink these? Haven, you have a good enough restaurant to just be straight with your customers. We had a reservation but still had to wait over 30 minutes for our table. After ordering our food, we waited another 45 minutes to get it. The food was good but not outstanding enough to overcome the bad service.
