Disappointed that options for kids were very sparse......ie, no plain ketchup, only spicy. My kids asked to go somewhere else next time.
We were disappointed that at 12:30 on a Sunday you were out of steak for steak and eggs . We brought another couple specifically get this dish and disappointed that they were out. This is a most popular dish ... could they plan better?
The salad and dessert were delicious, but the entrees were unusually disappointing.
I am sorry to say that I was expecting so much more. The food was mediocre. This was my husbands burthday, he especially wanted black grouper. He wan’t impressed. I expected a great waiter. Gordon came highly recommended. I guess he was too busy and didn’t know us because he was not even friendly. We were in and out within an hour. Our server was attentive and kind. Bay scallops were served cold and sent back twice. Birthday guest was last one to eat. Food was inconsistent in comparison to prior experiences.
I ordered the duck breast as my entree. While the duck was well prepared, some of the mixed vegetables on my plate were refrigerator cold.It was a quiet Sunday night, so the kitchen staff was not overburdened. Just sloppy.
Food was not good, Bloody Mary’s not good. Yogurt and fruit didn’t taste good. Eggs Benedict was too salty. Crab cakes were bland. Service and ambiance were great. Unfortunately the Mother’s Day brunch was very disappointing. Been coming to Haven and Valenza for many years. Was surprised.
Almost great. Food very good but portions smallish and tables are too crowded. Been once a year for 3 years and had the same experience each time. Won’t go back.
The restaurant was having an outdoor event on their patio. Overflow from the patio filled the bar which then crowded our table. People standing right next to the table leaning over us. The sound level was deafening. The wait staff was completely distracted by the large bar crowd and was oblivious to the problem. I would never eat here when there was an event
