The soft shell crab special appetizer was not soft shell. Meat inside shell was delicious tho. Did not care for the warm, limp Ceasar salad. It would have been nice had it been cold and crisp. Fried oysters were over cooked. I had heard so many nice comments about Haven, guess we ordered wrong.
Food was very average. Carrot cake tasted burned. Noise level was awful. I wouldn’t go back.
Seating was a little too crowded and a little too loud.
Nice place service was good but the food was bad. Gumbo was over cooked and was more like an etufee than a gumbo. Guess the chef needs a lesson in food from Louisiana. Scallops we're ok but my date was sick the next day. Might not go back for awhile.
We came back to Haven to celebrate a special milestone - from first date, to last date before baby arrives 4 years later. Unfortunately I had to send my steak back twice because it was served to me purple on the inside (fine for someone who isn't pregnant). I had to watch my husband eat for 20 minutes while waiting, and there was no appeasement at all - not even a complimentary dessert. Took way to long to get our food and no comp for the long wait
The steaks were pretty good, although my bone in filet was mostly bone. The sides were mediocre at best, though the cocktails and wine were nice. For this price, I'd much prefer any of the other steak houses around Atlanta. This place isn't even in the same league as Bones, Hal's, etc but wants to charge the same prices. The waiters had to shuffle sideways between tables to get through and the whole dining room felt cramped. I was definitely underwhelmed and won't be returning.
Great food, very active but ridiculously noisy. Can't hear a thing.
this was really embarrassing to even come here for$ 140.00 on a planned Fri. pm dinner date , the service was wayyyyy too slow. Hire more wait staff outside on patio dining on a summer night, plainly and simply !!! Poor poor service !! Will never dine again here, too many fine restaurants in the area to waste time at this place !
