Sold my husband the crap hearing aids. Billed insurance over $8000. We returned them because they were horrible. They returned our money but have not returned money to insurance company. Can’t get good ones until they return the insurance money. Numerous requests and no response to us or our insurance. Next step is to report them.

While the people at the Westerville Ohio location are great, they are the only place that takes my insurance close to me and that’s still an hour snd 15 min drive. So when I get to my appointment to find out some how they took me off the schedule and booked someone else in my place. No explanation besides their internet has been spotty. Jan. 3, I had ear mold fitting done for new ear molds and scheduled to get new hearing aids…. It’s been 5 Weeks and still have not gotten them yet!! This is unacceptable!! Kenmoor Location in Grand Rapids, MI. Good luck in getting someone to answer the phone
I paid $3,200 for a set of hearing aids.. They did not work. I was told I could turn them in for a different pair. I turned them in to Dr Whitten. He fitted me for a new pair. After several weeks of not hearing from him, I called his office. He claimed I never turned them in. He somehow lost them and would not admit it so I am out $3,200. Never go to Dr. Christopher Whitten.
Kaiser Permanente Thrive, shame on Kaiser , been a member for 62 years and this is how you treat patients (customers) I wonder what Medicare would think of this. I was actually told I could get my husband a video appointment and he could show the audiologist his hearing report from the provider who does the hear test since HearUSA doesn’t have an audiologist at there Bakersfield location, computer screen, then they would send me a kit to make a mold of the inside of my husbands ear.. Five and a half years into owning my $5000 hearing aids (which I assumed would last a lifetime with care and periodic adjustments), I was told today that they only keep the technology to adjust their hearing aids for five years. So, I’m stuck with useless hearing aids that cost me $1000 for each year I was able to use them. The girl admitted that it’s an unfair policy and that other customers are also upset. Buyer beware!!!!!
