Great location! Unfortunately, not a great stay. I should have gotten a room with 2 queen beds and 1 sofa-bed and small coffee table but instead, was offered basic 2-bed room, on a 9th Fl, with no view (actually very close view at someone else's window, no privacy at all); when a nice girl at check-in wanted to improve my accommodations and offer larger room on 19th or 21st Fl, the manager abruptly told her "no!" and refused to change it... The staff was extremely rude. They marked our stay as a no show and then charged me twice the amount. They do not care about you
I had to cancel my room last minute due to a medical emergency with my son… No one wanted to work with me to get refunded. Working with the public myself, us as business owners always do what we can to best take care of the customer!
We were in nyc for the us open & chose the garden inn for its location being close to the E line & easy transfers. Our stay became one of the most disappointing & frustrating hotel experience- so much inconvenience, runarounds, & incorrect room charges. Room was quite small for double queen (no room for unpacking easily, openly) clean but fridge door & ac control panel needed fixing. Small dirty hotel. Left after 1 night. Wasn’t refunded
The front desk had no clue about what was going on . We had to wait 2 hrs to get the room . Expedia booking showed breakfast included but was not included. Front desk was not friendly. Overall a very experience maybe because I booked thru Expedia. I will have to think twice next time booking on Expedia

At check-in, the front desk personnel had copies of our reservations for 2 rooms from Expedia, thus, they very well know that we booked through a third-party. Additionally, we explicitly told them that our reservations were through Expedia. They then proceeded with checking us in and told us about the daily food and beverage credit for $10 per adult per room, since I'm a diamond member.
