The staff was nice, but they could not solve the problem, such as the noisy sound that Room 1408 made during my stay in the hotel. I am still waiting for the feedback from the hotel manager.
Checked in air conditioning did not work. Was 86° in room. Staff sent up engineer to check AC. Said they fixed it. Next day still 86°. Called again. Another staff member came up and said it was not fixable. Said we need a new room. Called down to front desk they said no rooms available. 86° in room I continue to call. 2 days later they said there was a room available. I left after 1cnight. very noisy room, was changed to a room in exact same position, lower floor. I wasnt taken seriously. Also theres 1 vending machine with hot soda.
Bathroom smelled like mildew. Toilet tree items were not refilled. So body wash soap or empty. Linen seemed worn. I guess it’s expected considering the inexpensive rate that was advertised. I did the job. I would say Manhattan scenery made the trip worth my while. Not so much the hotel.
The room is small, and the bathroom smells unpleasant. I had to keep the bathroom door closed to remain in the room.
