Installation program couldn't find the printer without a USB connection. Tried multiple times to connect wirelessly to this printer. Removing the USB/Computer cable- the program couldn't find the printer. Returning.
Stopped working after the warranty expired! This is your nightmare printer it goes to sleep mode all the time even though it's wireless, It stopped working and the printer wouldn't turn on, I was wondering if there is proper investigation the manufacturing of these printers, from my reading I am not the only who has those issues.
This product has a very short shelf life We purchased this item in May 2020 since I was needing to work from home. Get up this morning and it's completely dead. Moved it to several different electrical outlets to make sure there wasn't a problem with the outlet, all with the same outcome. NO POWER... Apparently it's not built to last. Amazon created a "one time exception" to allow me to return it but the refund wasn't even close to what I actually paid for it. Live and learn. Fake rebate offer Found an offer for a rebate online that turned out to be invalid. It probably prints okay but I’ll have to return it. It’s not worth the cost.
Not working for me tech no help after an hour Cant get it to print on my laptop. Shoots entire tray of blank paper.
Run far away from purchasing electronics on Amazon DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING REMOTELY ELECTRONIC FROM AMAZON. Every single thing I have purchased in the last year totally craps out after 3 months and is then past their return window. I have wasted HOURS of my life with support and this particular issue is still not resolved. I now have to deal with the manufacturer and go to a repair center ONE STATE AWAY to address the fact that it will not power on. I am SO OVER AMAZON. Time to pull my Prime plug.
Two strikes Bought a refurbished one that didn’t work. Replaced it with a new one that won’t feed from the drawer. Usually works from the single sheet feeder. Missed the return deadline by a week.
DO NOT BUY A BROTHER PRINTER IF YOU HAVE AN ARRIS ROUTER I was struggling to connect this printer to my wifi, which otherwise works perfectly... and I discovered after a lot of trouble-shooting, first by myself and then via chat with Brother customer support, that Brother printers do not work with Arris routers. Terrible, Unreliable Printer -- It never connects! I had to trouble shoot this printer dozens of times to get it to connect to wifi. Also, when I use the hardline USB to connect to my laptop, sometimes the printer will wake up out of sleep mode and other times it won't. Infuriating!!! DON"T BUY THIS!
