what a value serves my amazon return printing needs :)
You’ll need a cable if you have a custom network If you have your own network the you will need to add a usb cable to your purchase. If you don’t you will be dead in the water as it requires a computer hooked up directly so you can enter your network and password. Not too happy this wasn’t mentioned anywhere except in the setup instructions inside the box. Out of about 10 different usb cables around the house I have not even one that is the correct one. Frustrating.
Sent it back Had repeated issues with the printer showing online for the wifi. Also the power on button is so incredibly small and cheap it was pointless. Sent it back after only a few weeks.
installation instructions VERY poor Written instructions are not enough to connect wirelessly. You need to call support. The instructions do not include any menu information. Seems to work once it is installed, but I am sorry I bought this. Have had to call support for installation. Why can't the developers and tech writers get it together???

wether the printer can copy could not figure out how to make a copy on this printer. called technical support and was told this printer dose not have copying capability. now I cant return product because I don't have original packageing. totally sucks.

Printer never connects Printer never connects to the wifi even when sitting right next to the router. Have had to call customer service to set up my printer every time I go to use it. Customer service is early available and never on the weekends.
Brother good, UPS bad! Printer is excellent, clean fast printing, easy to set up WIFI. Thanks to the very good packing, UPS didn't destroy it after numerous delivery problems. UPS is terrible, very poor driver interface and non existent customer service.
Don't Buy if you own a Mac This printers going back as defective - not fit for purpose. Wifi setup is a joke. The onscreen LED doesn't give enough information to do anything but guess at the routers state. It requires a computer to tell it how to connect to wifi, but the Mac's software is too buggy to actually do the update. Trying to setup the wifi connection just doesn't work from Mac. Works Poorly My old review: "I'm surprised at the high print quality. I'm excited that I don't have to keep this in consistent use to prevent a breakdown like in ink printers. The toner is available at low cost and this printer is low cost. Seems like a great buy so far." My new review: Brother has cornered the market on toner cartridges that fit this printer.
