Unreliable & unresponsive Falls into deep sleep and won't wake up without cycling power. Doesn't retain network settings. Prints fine when you can get it to work. Lots of effort required to reconnect to the network.
No ethernet port The top Amazon question for this device was answered by brother support saying that it did, in fact, have an ethernet port. It does not. Power cable is not a standard three pin, it is built in. Wifi connectivity seems to work if I am close to my AP.
Do not buy if you want to use with iOS devices I do not usually write product reviews, but this printer has been nothing but a headache for me and I wish I'd listened to some of the negative reviews and never bought it. Initial setup with my Mac was very easy and quick, and the printer worked flawlessly for the first couple of days. However, after that I could only get it to work periodically. Never managed to print a single page I worked on this for nearly a month, trying to connect it wirelessly and then with a USB port. I just got off the phone with a technician (after a 40-minute wait) and he told me to contact my network administrator. I said I didn't care about wireless, I just wanted it to work, so we plugged it in with a USB. When that didn't work, he said I need to contact Microsoft... I've been using Brother b/w lasers for decades, this is the last one...

Nice printer, but Bought this printer about a month ago, as a workhorse companion to my Canon Pixma 7720. It works well and prints high quality fairly quickly. It prints 2 sided prints well. My major complaint is the deep sleep mode. The printer does not wake up when I send a print job. Nor does it wake up when I press buttons on it. I have to unplug the computer. Very frustrating. Prints Crooked, Happens Regularly on Two Machines I ship a lot of packages, make a lot of labels, and print on envelopes. It is essential for me to have a printer that prints straight. The Brother HL-L2350DW does not feed straight from the manual feed (top) tray. This is the tray most useful for label sheets and envelopes. Other reviews indicated this was a common theme. If you use a Chromebook, think twice about this printer. I use a Chromebook, and the description on this printer says it has wifi, so I thought it would be simple to connect to my chromebook. I was wrong. The problem is that it is not "cloud ready", meaning you have to go through mutliple steps to set up. You need a Mac or PC to add the printer first, then figure out how to "share" the printer with the Chromebook. Nice printer, but..... First one died about two months in and tech support was AWFUL! FInally sent us a new one (after days and then escalating to a manager). The unit performs well when working.
