Lasted less than 6 months Support would not help solve the issue. Just stopped chatting wen they could not figure it out. I waited an additional 20 minutes before disconnecting. Spent 8 hours with support.

Where do I begin I purchased this printer because it had all my must haves: duplex, wireless, laser, and color printing. It took my half the day to get the printer to work with my macbook. I was able to print about 3 documents which took forever after I sent the print job to the printer. The remainder of the docs still haven't printed and the printer keeps going into sleep mode. Color doesn't work I just got off the phone with tech support, I've been speaking to them since about 10 am (so about 3 hours). So here's my issue: the printer doesn't print color right, everything is super dark compared to what I see on my screen. DO NOT BUY THIS I need a wireless color laser printer that will print when I ask it to print. Instead, I bought this printer that will only print with a USB cable to directly tell the machine to print. The wireless connection is terrible, but this does not even provide an ethernet port for a direct internet connection. The printer goes to deep sleep, none of the Brother downloadable tools will wake it up, power cycling doesn't help and I'm on the latest firmware. Good printer, poor wifi connection. Only wifi, no ethernet connect. Printer randomly gets connection to mobile devices. I had to wire to my pc. If I want to reliably print I have to email to myself then print from pc.

Garbage!!! Super annoyed! I have had this printer for 2 days and every single time I print it says paper jam in the tray. There is no paper jammed anywhere. After sliding the tray in and out about 30 times I will print one page fine. Then start the process again. Biggest waste of $400 between the printer and toner refills. Don’t waste your money!

Wifi on this model is absolute garbage My biggest disappointment with this printer is it's connectivity. It has wifi builtin, but it's only 2.4GHz and it's so low powered that latency is 200ms when 5 ft away from access point with direct visibility. macOS found the printer over network and set it up successfully, but every print fails with error "Unable to locate".
